No family member ever wants to imagine having to place their child in a group home. But sometimes, a residential setting isn’t the best place for a child dealing with developmental, emotional, and physical disabilities.
OUR Group home also provides therapy, 24-hour supervision and support to children with behavioral concerns in a home-like setting.
We have been CARF accredited since our inception. We provide a Trauma-Informed, and QRTP certified staff.
Unlike large residential treatment facilities or psychiatric hospitals, our group home serves a small number of children, who are each given the critical attention they need at this pivotal point in their life.

HEALING PATHWAYS TRANSITIONAL HOMES, INC.
Is a non-profit 501c3 located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Our aim is to help young men between the ages: 7-21; with developmental, physical, and mental disabilities; social disadvantages, emotional trauma, and financial encumbrances. Many of these young men come from very unbalanced, and sometimes even callous environments. Society has given up on them, they are cast out, and they live a life of despondency.
Our Group Home provides therapy, 24-Hour care, supervision, and support to these children in a very welcoming setting. We here at Healing Pathways see the urgency to help children lost in these struggling environments and we want to help. We want to bring our talents, education, spirituality and loving hearts to the table and say with open arms. “We are here! We see you in pain! And you are no longer alone!
So, in August of 2019 we set out to purchase a home, renovate the space, become licensed and insured by the state of Ohio, and work within the system to add a little light in a very dark place.

Continuing Education Licensing
Licensed by ODJFS, accredited by CARF for AOD. We continue our Trauma-Informed training through Relias Academy, Accreditation Now, DODD learning, and many others. Our overarching goal is the well-being, safety and growth of our clients.
What We Provide
The treatment provided in our group home focuses primarily on improving self-esteem, teaching new skills and holding children accountable for their behavior.
Our group home also offers specialized treatment for specific issues, like autism spectrum, low IQ, substance abuse, or inappropriate sexual behavior. Most of our programs include:

If the goal is for a child to return home, family involvement is critical. Participation in therapy and multi-family groups is essential to helping the family be prepared for a teen's return home.
